Most likely you are like most people and had never even heard of the now popular companys “Starbucks coffee Company” before the year 1980’s. As a matter of fact the Starbucks coffee company was founded in 1971 in Seattle by three businessmen. They had a love for coffee and tea and wanted to share their passion with the city of Seattle.

The Starbucks company grew slowly and remained in the Northwestern part of the United; therefore not many people were able to enjoy the great taste of this powerhouse. In 1981 there were only 4 retail stores and a roasting plant that made their coffee available to the public; however they were located in Seattle only.

During the 1990s; Starbucks Coffee company was able to spread across the United States and provide their flavorful coffee to coffee lovers everywhere; they became one of the publicly traded companies in the United States. Today you can easily find more than 9,000 locations in more than 34 countries worldwide; and they are continuing to expand and share their coffee everyday.

As a matter of fact it is not uncommon to be able to walk into a Starbucks coffee shop and purchase some coffee that you can take home and enjoy. Heck you do not even have to leave your home anymore to be able to enjoy this coffee; you can easily find several places online that now offer Starbucks coffee to enjoy from the comfort of their home.

You can also find mugs and t-shirts and almost anything else that you want to get your hands on. Over 20 million people stop by a Starbucks coffee shop on a weekly basis to enjoy a hot cup of their favorite drink.

So no matter which way you look at it; people seem to enjoy their coffee and they no longer have to look far to enjoy a cup of Starbucks Coffee. They seem to be popping up everywhere you look; and if there is not one near you yet; then it does not mean that one will not be coming soon.
