Fixing A Drip Coffee Maker

If you have come to the internet to try to save some money and find information on how to fix a drip coffee maker; then look no further. Some friends and I decided to take an old coffee maker and begin a test to see if we could use the power of our hands with the help of tools to get that coffee maker working again. Guess what we did it with a little bit of problems; but that this is pumping out coffee like it is brand new.

By now you already know that coffee is one of the most consumed drinks in the United States. One in every three households has at least some type of coffee maker that is used on a daily basis. As a matter of fact if you ask most people they will tell you that they could not live without their coffee maker.

However as technology continues to improve every year; the design and simplicity of the machines seem to change as well. We decided to learn how to fix a drip coffee maker and guess what I am going to reveal how we fixed it; so hopefully it will help you get your old machine pumping like new.

1. Unplug Power: this is important you never want to begin working on anything electrical until you unplug the electricity.

2. Remove The Pot And Basket: This will help prevent the lid from opening and the water from leaking out. You can also drain it if it does have water in the basket.

3. Remove Screws: A Drip coffee maker is going to have screws on the bottom that will expose the heating elements and controls when they are removed.

4. Damage: You will want to inspect the wires and see if there are any disconnected wires or debris that may be causing the machine to malfunction. Of course if you are not familiar with the electrical aspect of the machine then you may want to seek professional advice.

5. Replacements: If you find something that needs to be replaced then find a replacement and take out the old and put in the new. This is most likely what has been preventing your machine from brewing coffee.

Put the machine back together and that should be it. If you have done everything correctly then you should notice that your machine will be able to work like it did before you were experiencing trouble with it.
