Some coffee connoisseurs enjoy the great taste of Jamaican coffee which comes from the Blue Mountains (which really are not mountains; but that is the name that the residents call it.) They are 5,500 feet above sea level and are covered with thick woods that are used as a forest preserve. Right below the hilltops is where they produce the coffee beans for some of the most delicious coffee that has been known as the best tasting coffee.

It is the perfect environment for the coffee production because of the rainfall pattern and the constant mist in the air that provides the moisture that adds to the delicacy of the taste.

Do not believe for one instance that you are going to be able to walk into a grocery store and find a bag of this coffee that you can take home and enjoy the great taste of Jamaican coffee. Unless you go to a specialized coffee shop or browse online; chances are you will not be able to taste this great drink. Now before you go into shock about the price; it is one of the best tasting coffees.

Unless you are willing to pay the premium price for this coffee; then you will be unable to realize what people are constantly talking about. They charge a lot for this coffee; because of the way that it is prepared and the methods that they use.

You can expect to pay around $30 for just one pound of the ground of coffee. However take my word for it; once you taste how wonderful it is; it will be hard to drink any old plain cup of your favorite drink.
