Buying A New Coffee Maker
I remember the days when buying a new coffee maker was extremely simple; they did not have all the features that they do today. I would go to the hardware store with my parents and they would tell the employee that they wanted to purchase a new coffee pot (that is what they used to call them back in the days.) The store employee would show you two items; there was no such thing as several different items.
They would show you a drip pot and a percolator pot; those were your choices so it made buying a new coffee maker so simple. However today they have all kinds of models on the market that make buying a new
coffee maker much more difficult.

I also remember that there was no such thing as automatic coffee; my parents were not used to waking up to the smell of coffee. My mother had to get out of bed and turn on the coffee maker so that they could enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

Today with all the choices available; how can one find one that will fit our needs? They come in different sizes from a small 2-cup size to a larger 12-cup size and then they all have different types of features and buttons that you can think of.
Do you really need one that has an automatic shut off? Do you need a simple coffee maker that just has an on/off switch? You can take your pick because you will be able to find one that has almost any button that you can think of.
